Who's around bank holiday weekend?

jack and I are returning from Croatia on Friday 24^th August, flying in to Gatwick. It would be really lovely to meet up with people over the long weekend, so who's around? I know it's short notice and a lot of people will be away because of the bank holiday, but it seems worth a try.

The ideal itinerary would be if someone can give us crash space London-ish or otherwise reachable from the airport on Friday night, and we could then hang out on Saturday. We have plans in Cambridge for Sunday evening but not before that, so we could do Saturday night / Sunday either in London or in Cambridge depending who's free. We'll be in Cambridge Monday. If you'd like to see us during the day but don't want overnight guests that works too, the main point is to be sociable!

(Particularly since I managed to more or less completely ignore you the last time I saw you. Sorry about that; I'd just run into a long-lost old friend who I'd expected never to see again.)

Still working on plans; I'll let you know when I've confirmed what we're doing. I agree, it would definitely be nice to see you.

Don't worry about ignoring me when I was last in the pub; there were a whole lot of people there and I knew from the start I wasn't going to get to talk to everybody. Finding a long-lost friend is really cool, in any case, yay for unexpected happy coincidences!

I have tentative plans for Fri night and Sat day, but either could fall through and you're both welcome to stay at mine whether they do or not. It's Zone 3 East London, so not immediately accessible for the airport but not far by London standards I guess. Let me know.
