I am surprisingly reluctant to leave that anti-semitism post at the top of my journal. So, have some links to random cool or interesting stuff.
I'm not a fan of Welcome to Night Vale, in fact, I haven't even listened to WtNV because I haven't yet figured out how to make podcasts part of my life. But I think I might be a fan of WtNV fandom. I love how much beautifully drawn fanart it seems to inspire, I love the extensive fanon, I love the community that seems to be springing up around the show. And the meta, omg the meta!
kate_nepveu as well as several other people linked to this Queer reading by

Of tiny pink dumbbells and fat chicks
Neither post is completely body-positive, and they may be difficult reading for people who have issues around weight or body image. And they're talking about ways to respond to and transform some really horrible judgementalism and bullying, but I found both of them inspiring in spite of those negative contexts.

a really beautiful sestina about a mothas an example of something that would be out of place in a hardboiled detective story. And
