So I've just been to a talk by Kim Nasmyth who is a bit of a hero of mine because he's such an excellent communicator (and does very interesting research). Anyway, it was a great talk, but the content probably won't interest most of you. What I wanted to draw attention to was this very cool image by the artist Gina Glover¹, which he used to illustrate the talk. Now, how cool is that? (It's also refreshing to see a speaker actually credit the artist for random images nabbed from the web to enhance a talk!)

hmm.

Now I find myself remembering that, although Clangers had no visible indication of sexual dimorphism, Grandma Clanger used to knit constantly.

These things really should be related.
