An annoying situation
May. 26th, 2005 09:03 amSo I was in the shower, doing the kinds of things one does in showers, when someone rang the doorbell. I considered jumping out of the shower and wrapping a towel round myself to answer the door, but decided it probably wasn't either justified or decent. A few minutes later, the water was turned off; I guess the workmen must have been ringing my doorbell to warn me they were planning to do this.
As a result, I have wet, shampoo-y hair and I can't do anything about it. When they've turned the water off in the past it's been for half an hour at a time. I more or less dried my body and put on a dressing gown that I don't really mind getting a bit damp, but I'm not really dry because my hair is dripping all over me. I can't even make myself a cup of tea to make up for the annoyance.
Meep.
Today is the 32nd day, making four complete weeks and 4 days of the Omer.
